Borya: It seems that I heard this sketch for a long time, and finally I got the opportunity to implement it. A real fusion of instrumental and electronics with the spirit of dubstep of those times when this word could still be pronounced in a decent society.

Vitya: «Thou Art That» began in the spring of 2020, at the very moment when the world around us briefly stopped in a pandemic. Freed up time and the opportunity and desire to create more. This is how electronics got on the album, when the computer briefly remained the only musical instrument. Borya quite rightly spoke about early dubstep. «Butohstep» is my ten-years-old composition, which reflected the love for the label Hyperdub and for Autechre. Like the «Red Letter» and «It's Not All, That Behind the Darkness of Things», this track is nothing but a past that became present, returning us to the eternal creative spring.



Боря: Кажется, я слышал этот набросок очень давно, и наконец появилась возможность его реализовать. Настоящий фьюжн инструментала и электроники с духом дабстепа тех времен, когда это слово еще можно было произносить в приличном обществе.

Витя: «Это есть то» начал создаваться весной 2020 года, в тот самый момент, когда мир вокруг нас ненадолго остановился в пандемию. Освободилось время и появилась возможность и желание творить больше. Так на альбом и попала электроника, когда компьютер ненадолго остался единственным музыкальным инструментом. Боря совершенно правильно заговорил о раннем дабстепе. «Бутостеп» – это моё старое сочинение десятилетней давности, в котором отразилась любовь к лейблу Hyperdub и к Autechre. Как и «Красная буква», и «Это не то, что есть всё», эта композиция не что иное, как свершившееся прошлое, возвращающее нас в вечную творческую весну.
